California Academy of Sciences: The world’s only institution to combine a museum, aquarium, planetarium and scientific research and education program under one roof. The logo design echoed the silhouette of the “hills” on the building’s living roof, the woven pattern also earned it the name “the fabric of life.” This became the direct inspiration to bring the logo to life through motion.
The objective of the assignment was to make a quote come to life through animated typography.
I chose a Johnny Cash quote to set in motion using only different typographic choices and animation techniques to portray hidden meaning and emotions and tell a story.
